Perenco sites wreak havoc on environment, secret audit reveals

Commissioned by the Congolese government, a US firm found the French-British oil company to be responsible for ground and water contamination and biodiversity devastation in Muanda region. The study estimates cleanup costs of hundreds of millions of dollars.
