The Indian embassy in Abidjan, which handles New Delhi’s affairs with Guinea, wrote a letter to mines minister Abdoulaye Magassouba to complain about pressure being brought to bear on Jaguar Overseas.
In this letter dated Feb. 12, 2016, Andrey Ilyin, finance director of EuroChem, a Russian group that controls Lifosa, announces that the Lithuanian company will no longer import the ore from Western Sahara. (PDF, 1 page)
